Taking the digital age a notch higher, Malwa Mirage Ceramics Pvt. Ltd. is bringing digitisation to the very core of your homes, with its latest offering, Digital Glazed Ceramic Tiles.

Starting April, Malwa Mirage has begun manufacturing these intricate and picturesque pieces of art to encapsulate beauty like never before. And for this, the company is using their very own technology, Thinkjet. Elucidating the technology, Hussain Tambawala, Executive Director, Malwa Mirage Ceramics, says, “This technology allows non-contact printing on glazed surfaces, which leads to extremely high accuracy in printing, of course, in addition to the naturally varying design patterns and high resolution printing. Our unremitting R&D efforts on Thinkjet will lead to better colour management, higher intensity colours and a wide chromatic range, allowing us to print almost any colour.”

Priced between Rs. 80 to Rs. 120 per sq. ft., these tiles are available in sizes, 30x60 cm, 30x90 cm and 40 x 80 cm. Speaking of the longevity, Tambawala avers, “These tiles are extremely durable and suitable for all types of areas. The mechanical strength of the tile is very good. The chemical properties of the tiles will be augmented by a thick layer of glaze, which seals the surface completely and protects it from damage. Other special coatings are also applied to enhance these properties.”

Apart from durability, these tiles bring home that fresh burst of creativity that everyone looks for when decorating their living spaces. “Sky is the limit when it comes to designing,” states Mr Tambawala, “We have our own in-house creative team that specialises in creating world-class designs. We also purchase designs from various agencies around the world, ensuring that there is something suitable for every customers. Digital printing also allows us to explore myriad undulated surfaces that we can print on.”

Malwa Mirage takes immense pride in being among the only few companies in the organised sector that offer a plethora of products on a pan India level. “Our diverse product range will make us more competitive in the months to come. Digital Technology is the future of the ceramic industry, we are very optimistic that digital printing will lead the shift in paradigm from a price-based market to a design based one,” states Mr Tambawala.
