Sun TV Network has announced that Kalanithi Maran, founder of Sun TV Network has stepped down from the day to day affairs of the company by appointing K Vijaykumar as the company's MD. Maran will continue as executive chairman of the company with immediate effect.
The board in its meeting on 20 April 2012 has approved the appointment of R Ravivenkatesh as non-executive independent director.
The board has appointed K Vijaykumar as MD and CEO of the company.
C praveen, the present Senior Vice President of the company has been elevated as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company with immediate effect.
Further, Kaveri Kalanithi will continue as executive director of the company.
