Mutual funds (MFs) sold shares worth a net Rs 263.60 crore on Tuesday, 8 January 2013, compared with outflow of Rs 267 crore on Monday, 7 January 2013.
The net outflow of Rs 263.60 crore on Tuesday, 8 January 2013, was a result of gross purchases Rs 320.40 crore and gross sales Rs 584 crore. The BSE Sensex had advanced 51.10 points or 0.26% to settle at 19,742.52 on that day, its highest closing level since 4 January 2013.
Mutual funds have sold shares worth net Rs 1350.50 crore in January 2013 so far (till 8 January 2013).
