Mutual funds (MFs) sold shares worth Rs 91.60 crore on Tuesday, 17 July 2012, compared with inflow of Rs 10.60 crore on Monday, 16 July 2012.
The net outflow of Rs 91.60 crore on Tuesday, 17 July 2012, was a result of gross purchases Rs 352.90 crore and gross sales Rs 444.50 crore. The BSE Sensex had gained 1.99 points or 0.01% to settle at 17,105.30 on that day, its highest closing level since 13 July 2012.
Mutual funds have sold shares worth net Rs 1935.60 crore in July 2012 so far (till 17 July 2012). They had purchased shares worth net Rs 295.50 crore in June 2012.
