Mutual funds (MFs) sold shares worth a net Rs 433.30 crore on Wednesday, 26 September 2012, compared with inflow of Rs 198.80 crore on Tuesday, 25 September 2012.
The net outflow of Rs 433.30 crore on Wednesday, 26 September 2012, was a result of gross purchases Rs 440.80 crore and gross sales Rs 874.10 crore. The BSE Sensex had lost 62.24 points or 0.33% to settle at 18,632.17 on that day, its lowest closing level since 20 September 2012.
Mutual funds have sold shares worth net Rs 2837.29 crore in this month so far (till 26 September 2012).
