Mutual funds (MFs) sold shares worth a net Rs 487.30 crore on Monday, 17 September 2012, higher than outflow of Rs 192.70 crore on Friday, 14 September 2012.
The net outflow of Rs 487.30 crore on Monday, 17 September 2012, was a result of gross purchases Rs 882.90 crore and gross sales Rs 1370.30 crore. The BSE Sensex had risen 78.04 points or 0.42% to settle at 18,542.31 on that day, its highest closing level since 25 July 2011.
Mutual funds have sold shares worth net Rs 1086.80 crore in this month so far (till 17 September 2012).
