Mutual funds (MFs) sold shares worth a net Rs 630.80 crore on Monday, 24 September 2012, which was higher than outflow of Rs 271.60 crore on Friday, 21 September 2012.
The net outflow of Rs 630.80 crore on Monday, 24 September 2012, was a result of gross purchases Rs 664.20 crore and gross sales Rs 1295 crore. The BSE Sensex had lost 79.49 points or 0.42% to settle at 18,673.34 on that day, its lowest closing level since 20 September 2012.
Mutual funds have sold shares worth net Rs 2593.79 crore in this month so far (till 24 September 2012).
