National Thermal Power Corporation has announced that Meja Urja Nigam, a joint venture of NTPC and UPRVUN has achieved financial closure for Meja Thermal Power Project (1320 MW), located in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
A loan agreement for Rs 7,575 crore was signed on 06 June 2012 with consortium of sixteen banks led by State Bank of India and syndicated by SBI Capital Markets.
