The company announced the new orders during trading hours today, 13 February 2012.
Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was down 57.96 points, or 0.33% to 17,690.73.
On BSE, 12.71 lakh shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 11.72 lakh shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 58.30 and a low of Rs 55.10 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 95.55 on 8 April 2011. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 27.10 on 29 December 2011.
The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 10 February 2012, surging 58.02% compared with the Sensex's 9.8% return. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one quarter, gaining 46.95% as against Sensex's 2.23% gain.
The mid-cap construction company has an equity capital of Rs 53.40 crore. Face value per share is Rs 2.
IVRCL Assets & Holdings, a subsidiary of IVRCL, has secured an order worth Rs 1201.70 crore involving four laning of a road project in Haryana to be executed as build-operate-transfer (BOT) (Toll) project on design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) pattern. The concession period for the contract is 20 years and the construction period is 30 months.
The water division of IVRCL has secured orders aggregating Rs 111.06 crore. One of the orders is from Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board. The second contract is from Kerala Water Authority, Government of Kerala. The third order is from NTPC.
IVRCL's transportation division has secured an order worth Rs 71.92 crore from Rail Vikas Nigam. IVRCL's buildings division has secured a contract worth Rs 45.10 crore from Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, the company said in a statement.
IVRCL's net profit fell 65% to Rs 8.14 crore on 0.4% decline in net sales to Rs 1046.03 crore in Q2 September 2011 over Q2 September 2010.
