Sudhir Vasudeva, Chairman and Managing Director, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC) and Chairman Oceantex at a recently held function in Mumbai conferred the Oceantex 2012 Leadership and Excellence award for innovation in the Hydrocarbon sector to Outokumpu India, which is a subsidiary of finland based largest stainless steel maker Outokumpu .
Yatinder Pal Suri, India head who is also popular as stainless steel guru received the award.
While conferring the award ONGC chairman, Sudhir Vasudeva lauded the role of Outokumpu, leading stainless steel and the world’s foremost supplier of duplex stainless steel in providing its quality high end products to the Oil & Gas, Energy and shipping-related industries, where corrosion is a serious issue.
