According to the latest updates from India Pepper and Spice Trade Association (IPSTA), Kochi, Pepper arrivals in Kochi Mandi increased to 160 quintals on Friday on 8th June 2012 from 70 quintals, meanwhile offtakes jumped to 130 quintals from 90 quintals as on Thursday.
Black Pepper for ready delivery in Kochi, closed Friday's trading session with positive note at Rs 39,200, up by Rs 200 and Un-Garbled pepper ended at Rs 37,700 per 100 kg, up by Rs 200 over last close.
The NCDEX Pepper June contract ended the session higher at Rs 39,600, up by Rs 165 or 0.42% over the last close. The contract traded in the range of Rs 39,200-39,850 per quintal.
