According to the latest updates from India Pepper and Spice Trade Association (IPSTA), Kochi, Pepper arrivals in Kochi Mandi stood at 340 quintals on Friday on 25th May 2012, meanwhile offtakes stood at 210 quintals.
Black Pepper for ready delivery in Kochi, closed Friday's trading session with positive note at Rs 39,100, up by Rs 600 and Un-Garbled pepper ended at Rs 37,600 per 100 kg, up by Rs 600 over last close.
The NCDEX Pepper June contract ended the session higher at Rs 39,305, up by Rs 1,145 or 3% over the last close. The contract traded in the range of Rs 37,950-39,305 per quintal.
