GMR synchronizes first unit of Kamalanga Thermal Power Plant

On 27 January 2013

The first unit of GMR Group's 3x350 MW coal based power project at Kamalanga, near Dhenkanal in Odisha, was successfully synchronized with the central grid on 27 January 2013.
