Potato arrivals in the Azadpur mandi in the state of Delhi stood at 90 trucks (80 trucks as on 14th June 2012). Among the varieties, fresh crop from the state of Punjab quoted steady in the range of Rs 1,000-1,050, while new crop from UP quoted steady in the range of Rs 1,100-1,160 per quintal.
The NCDEX July Potato contract moved in the range of Rs 1,077-1,097.77 and is currently trading at Rs 1,092.50, up by Rs 1.90 or 0.17% over the last close.
