Home Minister P Chidambaram is set to take over as the new Finance minister, while power minister Sushil Kumar Shinde will replace him as Home Minister, according to reports.

The reshuffle will take place in the wake of Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee moving to Rashtrapati Bhavan as the President.
