Reliance Industries has hired a British government official to head its refining division, according to reports.
Reports stated that Tony Fountain, who is designated as CEO of Reliance's refining business that includes the world's biggest refining complex at Jamnagar came on board in January this year after spending 25 years in oil major BP.
Fountain's arrival is expected to help the company handle the tough global market, where refining margins have contracted, says report.
