India Infoline News Service/ 09:52 , Apr 12, 2012

Joginder Singh Rana, COO, Ratnakar Bank said, "The opening of the NOC in Goregaon is an important step in Ratnakar Bank's growth strategy.

Private sector – Ratnakar Bank has announced the opening of its new National Operating Center (NOC) at Goregaon, Mumbai. Spread over 16,000 sq. ft., the NOC is a cutting edge operations and technology (O&T) hub equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure.

The NOC will integrate the Bank’s network, allowing reliability and consistency in service delivery, scalability in volume processing and will help mitigate operational risks associated with large distribution networks.

The Bank’s NOC setup comes as a significant and major step in the Bank’s transformation journey. The Centre will allow the Bank to rationalize activities and to improve turnaround time with the objectives of reducing transaction processing cost and enhancing service delivery.

The NOC is the Bank’s first, and will be complemented by a soon to be completed Regional Processing Centre (RPC) in Kolhapur.

Commenting on the development,  Joginder Singh Rana, COO, Ratnakar Bank said, "The opening of the NOC in Goregaon is an important step in Ratnakar Bank's growth strategy. The NOC will enable the Bank to be better positioned in supporting the strong growth in our customer base and will assure the right operational infrastructure to introduce additional services to our customers whilst maintaining quality."

The Bank’s management team is focused on introducing strategic O&T initiatives that will enable the Bank to grow robustly and build a competitive product and service offering.
