Resonance, a premier Educational institute of the country, has announced a nation-wide Academic Talent Search Test called Scholarship & Talent Reward Test (STaRT-2013). The inaugural edition of this event was conducted in September 2011 to March 2012. Students of class V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI, XII (All streams in Class XI & XII) can participate in this National Talent-O-Meter.
STaRT-2013 is a two-stage test. Stage-1 will be conducted in both offline & online mode. The offline test will be conducted in schools & at 65 Resonance test centres spread across the country while the online test will be conducted on www.resostart.in, the official website of STaRT-2013. Stage-2 of the test will be conducted in offline mode only at 65 Resonance test centres for the shortlisted students from Stage-1.
Along with the academic & self-development benefits for students viz National Benchmarking, exposure to real life academic competition etc., STaRT-2013 is also rewarding the winning students. The details are as follows:
Stage-II will be followed by Champions’ Camp & Felicitation Function at Kota, Rajasthan. Champions’ Camp will be conducted for the Top 100 students of all classes except Class XII. Total 800 students will be invited for the champion’s camp.
Champion’s camp will be a 3 day event in which expert mentors of Resonance will educate & guide these students with a focus on establishing foundation for future competitive exams like NTSE, IJSO, KVPY, Olympiads, IIT-JEE & other Engineering & Medical entrances.
Resonance has also allocated scholarships of maximum worth of Rs. 4 Crores for the final top 500 students, from each class, if they enroll into Yearlong Classroom Contact Program (YCCP) of Resonance targeting JEE (Main/Advance), NEET (AIPMT), CBSE, NTSE, KVPY Olympiads, CA, CS, CWA/CMA etc. as relevant to their class & aspirations. According to the format of STaRT-2013, the schools can conduct first stage test of STaRT-2013 at their own premises & also become entitled for awards of around Rs. 15 Lakhs in various reward categories for Schools, their Principals & Coordinators based on performance & participation of their students.

Registration for STaRT-2013 opened on September 19, 2012 & closes on November 18, 2012. Registration Fee for STaRT-2013 is Rs. 250/-. However, if a Government School Conducts the test in its own premises, it will be free.
