International Media Distribution and STAR TV, a wholly owned subsidiary of News Corporation and Asia's leading media and entertainment company, today announced the signing of a deal for carriage of STAR India PLUS, STAR India GOLD, Life OK, and STAR India NEWS with Time Warner Cable.
STAR India PLUS, officially the #1 Asian television channel in India and the UK*, will soon be available to Time Warner Cable customers in select markets. STAR India PLUS is a 24/7 premium network in Hindi with English subtitles.
As India's general entertainment leader for over a decade, STAR India PLUS regularly features many of the top programs in the country week in and week out. Prime time programs on STAR India PLUS include household-name soap operas as well as some of the nation's favorite reality and game shows. The next big phenomenon to come to STAR India PLUS is Satyamev Jayate, Aamir Khan's highly anticipated television debut premiering on May 6 at 11:00am ET.
