Saregama, India’s premiere music company has re-launched its all new interactive music portal which will offer an exhaustive catalogue over the web of all its music albums. Saregama is one of the biggest repertoires of Indian music under one roof with a single music label and it soon plans to have all of its collection on one platform – right from the songs of its Gramophone days to HMV and SAREGAMA, from Suraiya to Sunidhi Chauhan, from Gauhar Jaan to Gurdaas Mann, from Kishore to KK, from Anand Bakshi to Anand Milind. The essential collections of veterans like Bhimsen Joshi, M S Subalakshmi , Ghantasala, P Susheela , S P Balasubramanyam would also be a part of the portal.
Some of the prominent features of the website will be free streaming, paid downloads paid audio albums and home videos (BBC/DISOVERY/PVR which Saregama represents in India).

Saregama wants to offer an ala carte model of single song and subscription packages for bulk consumptions. Packages are likely to be priced between Rs 99 to Rs 999. A highly-developed search will help the users to search according to their mood/theme/tempo and other granular searches for artiste, decade, and mood/theme.
