Exports increased 1.68% at $24.2bn while imports expanded 10.96% at $41.9bn. However, sentiments turned around after April WPI inflation fell to a 41-month low of 4.89%, it means that RBI has plenty of room to slash interest rates in its upcoming policy meet.
