The NSE
Nifty was quoting at 5,870, up 45 points over the previous close. It earlier touched a day’s high of 5,873 and a day’s low of 5827. It opened at 5,836.
The BSE Small-Cap index and BSE Mid- Cap index were tading up in the range of 0.8-1.1%.
Bajaj Auto, Hindustan Unilever,Coal India,Maruti Suzuki, Sun Pharma Inds, HDFC Bank, Dr. Reddy's Labs are among losers in Sensex and Nifty.
Metal,Power, PSU, Oil and Gas,Capital Goods,Bankex,Realty, HC, Consumer Durables,Auto,IT, Teck, Metal, are the gainers.
FMCG was the only loser in sectoral indices.
Quarterly GDP at factor cost at constant (2004-05) prices for Q2 of 2012-13 is estimated at Rs. 12,93,922 crore as against Rs. 12,28,982 crore in Q2 of 2011-12, showing a growth rate of 5.3 per cent over the corresponding quarter of previous year.
