Sensex starts with negative note...Realty, Bankex stocks slips

At 9:18am (IST), the BSE Sensex was trading at 18793, down 109 points over the previous close.

At 9:18am (IST), the BSE Sensex was trading at 18793, down 109 points over the previous close. It had earlier touched a day's high of 18805 and a day's low of 18736. It opened at 18779.

The NSE Nifty was quoting at 5,721, down 39 points over the previous close. It earlier touched a day’s high of 5,721 and a day’s low of 5693. It opened at 5,709.

Tata Motors, Sun Pharma, HUL, Dr Reddys Lab are among gainers in Sensex and Nifty.

RIL, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, L&T, SBI, ICICI Bank, Tata Power,Bharti Airtel, Hero MotoCorp,Maruti, SBI,L&T, Sterlite Inds,HDFC,BHEL are among losers in Sensex and Nifty.

The BSE Small-Cap index and BSE Mid- Cap index was trading down 0.34% and 1%.

Oil and Gas , HC, PSU, Power,Realty, Metal, Oil and Gas, Consumer Durables, Bankex, Capital Goods, Metal,IT, Teck  are the losers.
