AXIS Bank Ltd has announced that at the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Bank held on February 13, 2012, the Board has approved the reappointment of Smt. Shikha Sharma as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank for a further period of three years with effect from June 01, 2012 i.e. for the period June 01, 2012 to May 31, 2015.
The re-appointment will be subject to approval of the Reserve Bank of India and subject to confirmation by the shareholders of the Bank at the next General Meeting.
