Shoppers Stop has reportedly opened its sixth store in Bangalore and its 50th store in the country. It is also planning to invest Rs 2.25bn over 2012-13 and 2013-14.
Govind Shrikhande, Managing Director, Shoppers Stop was quoted as saying "Over the last two decades of success, we have earned the reputation of providing our customers with an unparalleled and world-class shopping experience. Our 50th store heralds a new era in our consistent aim to transform the retail landscape of the country."
The new store is spread over 56,000 sq ft offering brands like UCB, Jack & Jones, Austin Reed, US Polo, Mustang, Forever New, among others, reports added.
