Simbhaoli Sugars reported net loss of Rs 9.23 crore in the quarter ended March 2012 as against net profit of Rs 1.39 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2011. Sales declined 28.37% to Rs 207.91 crore in the quarter ended March 2012 as against Rs 290.24 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2011.
For the unaudited full year, net loss reported to Rs 108.17 crore in the year ended March 2012. Sales reported to Rs 1334.28 crore in the year ended March 2012. The company changed its year end from September 2011 to March 2012 and the value given for the current full year ended March 2012 is for the period of 18 months. Hence, the full year is not comparable.
