SilkAir, the regional wing of Singapore Airlines, will be introducing new flight schedules between Bengaluru and Singapore from 05 May 2012. This follows the completion of runway maintenance at Bangalore International Airport.
SilkAir flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays will be re-timed to depart in the mornings.
These revised timings, together with Singapore Airlines’ daily evening departure flights, will provide more flight options and better connectivity between Bengaluru and other cities in the combined network of Singapore Airlines and SilkAir.
Singapore Airlines’ Manager Karnataka, James Teo said: “Singapore Airlines and SilkAir have always sought to increase the synergy in our combined network of 97 cities in 37 countries, and enhance the connectivity options available to our customers. We are therefore delighted that the new SilkAir flight timings on the Bengaluru-Singapore route starting 5 May will better complement the services already offered by Singapore Airlines, jointly catering to both leisure and business travelers alike.”
