Sales rise 17.65% to Rs 715.92 crore

Net profit of Southern Petrochemicals Industries Corporation rose 123.41% to Rs 28.06 crore in the quarter ended December 2011 as against Rs 12.56 crore during the previous quarter ended December 2010. Sales rose 17.65% to Rs 715.92 crore in the quarter ended December 2011 as against Rs 608.52 crore during the previous quarter ended December 2010.
