The spot jeera prices were trading steady in the range of Rs 12,000-13,000 per quintal at Unjha Mandi. Best quality was trading in the range of Rs 14,500-15,500 per quintal. The total arrivals increased to 12,000 bags from 9,000 bags, while demand was seen for around 11,000 bags.
The NCDEX Jeera July contract ended the session higher at Rs 13,290, up by Rs 230 or 1.76% over the last close. The contract traded in the range of Rs 13,050-13,295 per quintal.
