Potato arrivals in the Azadpur mandi in the state of Delhi stood at 90 trucks (80 trucks as on 18th July 2012). Among the varieties, new crop quoted steady in the range of Rs 1,800-2,200, while new crop from UP quoted steady in the range of Rs 1,200-1,280 per quintal.
The NCDEX August Potato contract moved in the range of Rs 1,244-1,267.60 and is currently trading at Rs 1,265.10, up by Rs 26.50 or 2.14% over the last close.
