Suguna Group, the largest producers of poultry in the country enters the Education sector with Suguna Institute for Poultry Management (SIPM). Suguna Institute of Poultry Management (SIPM) is established under the Suguna Foundation, with the main objective of enabling a scientific understanding of Poultry Farming in the most conducive environment through a well-structured curriculum.

Suguna with its 25years of experience in Poultry industry offers the right platform to learn about Poultry and Poultry allied subjects. SIPM offers a chance for aspiring rural entrepreneurs to gain knowledge about the poultry field and upon completion of the course; Suguna shall provide continuous support to rural entrepreneurs in setting up and running their own farms. SIPM offers 100% placement to students upon completion of any of the Diploma or Certificate courses.

Most of the people in the sector enter the industry without formal education in Poultry. More than 10,000 people from diverse educational backgrounds enter the Poultry industry every year, and get informal training on the job. Suguna therefore identified the opportunity to empower the rural youth and has formulated the courses offered at SIPM. SIPM offers specialized courses Feed Manufacturing Technology, Incubation and Hatchery Management which are the first of its kind in India.

SIPM is located in Udumalpet, a place throbbing with poultry activities and is in close proximity to Suguna’s own hatcheries, chicken processing plant, feed mills, breeder farms, broiler farms, labs etc., it offers rich practical experience for the students, combined with theoretical learning.”

SIPM offers one-year Diploma courses - Diploma in Broiler Production Management and Diploma in Broiler Breeder Production Management. SIPM also offers 3 months duration Certificate Courses - Commercial Broiler Management, Broiler Breeder Management, Feed Manufacturing Technology, Incubation and Hatchery Management and Poultry Health Management 

Eligibility criteria for Diploma courses - 10+2 or equivalent with Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) with pass certification.
