Originally intended for training corporate executives and management, the modules have been customized to suit the academic environments in today’s business schools. These modules provide a wide range of case-study based learning scenarios that challenge the critical thinking and solution-oriented approach of students.
Commenting on the development, Rajesh Jumani, Chief Marketing Officer, TATA Interactive Systems said, “TIS has a strong focus on the management training, mastered over the past two decades with our learning solutions. The college program is a natural extension of this as it will work to build the next generation of industry leaders. Shree Chanakya Education Society ’s Indira Group of Institutes and FLAME School of Business share this vision which has driven their decision to adopt e-learning technologies.”
Chetan Wakalkar, Managing Trustee of Shree Chanakya Education Society and Group Director of the Indira Group of Institutes said, “We have always been at the forefront of bringing quality education to our students. This is one step forward in our ongoing commitment to deliver the best to them. Given that TIS’ solutions are backward engineered to suit the needs of b-schools, they bring a high level of real-life understanding of the business world into college projects.”
TIS has extended this deployment to all institutes of the Shree Chanakya Education Society.
Prof Indira Parikh, Founder President FLAME, said "We recognize the significance of using the latest methodologies of imparting education in providing the best for our students. This would enhance the management curriculum and provide our students an experiential learning so that they are responsive to innovations and the emerging market challenges."
While SimBLs is an experiential learning system leveraged by 60,000+ students across India, TOPSIM enables students to learn from the real-life experience of running a company – General Management simulation, an advanced and comprehensive model representing a company and its functions in all their complexity.
