Tata Steel production may drop on Orissa order: report

Tata Steel Ltd may have to cut production at its Jamshedpur plant after its associated Joda East iron ore mine stopped loading ore because of an order by the Orissa state government, according to reports. Ore loading from the mine was stopped because of a misunderstanding relating to the Orissa government’s order to stop illegal mining in the state, the report stated.
