Piramal Healthcare in talks to acquire Cambridge Major Laboratories: reports

Piramal Healthcare Ltd is in talks to buy U.S.-based contract drug maker Cambridge Major Laboratories for around $200 mn, according to reports.

Reports stated that  Indian drug maker is the flagship company of the Ajay Piramal-owned Piramal Group, while Cambridge Major Laboratories makes pharmaceutical intermediates and active pharmaceutical ingredients that are used in drugs.

Securus Data acquires 80% stake in data centre in Selangor: reports

Securus Data Property Fund has completed the acquisition of an 80% stake in a data centre located in Selangor, according to reports.

Reports stated that Securus Fund is jointly managed by Keppel Data Centre Investment Management , a wholly-owned subsidiary of Keppel Telecommunications & Transportation and AEP Investment Management.

The data centre is a freehold facility located in Cyberjaya, says report.

Gi Group acquires 49% stake in JV Elixir Consulting: reports

Italy-based Gi Group, a leading staffing company, has acquired the 49% stake of its joint venture partner Elixir Consulting for an estimated Rs 750mn-1bn, according to reports.

Reports stated that the $2-billion staffing giant forayed into India in 2008 through a JV with mid-level search and recruitment process outsourcing firm Elixir Consulting.
