Net profit of Triveni Turbine declined 2.70% to Rs 24.91 crore in the quarter ended March 2012 as against Rs 25.60 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2011. Sales declined 11.83% to Rs 142.66 crore in the quarter ended March 2012 as against Rs 161.80 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2011.
For the audited full year, net profit reported to Rs 91.08 crore in the year ended March 2012. Sales reported to Rs 629.07 crore in the year ended March 2012. The results for the previous year ended March 2011 include turbine operations for the period of six months consequent to transfer and vesting of this business into the company from 01 October 2011 under the scheme of arrangement. Hence, the results of th current year ended March 2012 are not comparable with those of the previous year ended March 2011.
