UltraTech August cement production up 4%

Production for August’10 is higher by 0.81% at 29.54 lac mt, and dispatches, at 29.61 lac mt by 2.40% over August’09

UltraTech’s cement production for the period April-August’10 has moved up by 4.18% at 158.12 lac mt as against 151.77 lac mt during April-August ’09.  Dispatches rose by 4.45% at 157.63 lac mt in April-August’10 vis-à-vis 150.92 lac mt in the corresponding period last year. Production  for  August’10 is higher by 0.81% at 29.54 lac mt, and dispatches, at 29.61 lac mt by 2.40% over August’09.
