Shree Cement climbed 4.35% to Rs 3000. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group. Shares of most cement companies extended recent rally triggered by UltraTech Cement posting better-than-expected Q1 results last week.
Media company Zee Entertainment Enterprises rose 3.93% to Rs 160.15, extending recent gains triggered by good Q1 outcome. The stock was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 161.60 in intraday today, 25 July 2012.
Zee Entertainment Enterprises, during trading hours on Friday, 20 July 2012, said its consolidated profit after tax rose 21% to Rs 157 crore on 21% growth in operating revenue to Rs 843 crore in Q1 June 2012 over Q1 June 2011. The stock has risen 9.59% in four consecutive sessions from a recent low of Rs 146 on 19 July 2012.
IT company Hexaware Technologies rose 3.81% to Rs 117.25. The stock was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. The company will announce Q2 results on 31 July 2012.
