This award came on the heels of a string of other awards. UK’s Conde Nast Traveller included the hotel in its Hot List 2012 as one of the best Top 60 new hotels in the world. Vivanta by Taj – Bekal, Kerala made it to the Russian Conde Nast Traveller’s Hot List 2012 as well. 

The hotel  won 2 awards at  HICSA 2012 (Hotel Investment Conference South Asia) - Best New Hotel Upper Upscale 2012 and Special Critics Award for Creating a New Destination in Bekal. It also won the SATTE award for the Best Hotel in the Upper Upscale segment.
