Vodafone India reportedly hiked its call rates by a steep 20% in Mumbai.
According to reports, the company has been offering a call rate of 1 paise per second for both local as well as national call.
An SMS alert was sent to Vodafone post-paid subscribers stating that the local and STD rates will now be 1.20 paise per second. The new rates are effective from May bill cycle, report stated.
Vodafone India spokesperson declined to comment on hike in call rates, reports added.
