Vogue India’s Anniversary issue features 5 split covers starring Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma and Sonam. Who’s your favourite cover girl? Vogue India gives you 5 options to choose from.

About the anniversary issue, Priya Tanna, Editor Vogue India, said, “Our 5th anniversary issue is a tribute to everything that inspires us. It is a toast to India and the eternal finesse of its most iconic offering with The Sari Project; the breathtaking buffet of textiles and matchless craftsmanship that have inspired design greats to push their creative boundaries with Project Renaissance; designers who promise to put India’s sartorial signature on the world map with the Vogue Fashion Fund; and of course our dream girls, the most glamorous faces in the country, who are more than just cover girls but purveyors of style for millions of Indian women.”

Celebrating inspiration, Vogue India’s 5th anniversary issue is power-packed with interesting articles including the Renaissance Project feature, the Black sari story and an ethereal dream-like Musical Shoot with various Bollywood stars besides giving readers the best advice on lifestyle, fashion and beauty.

For Renaissance Project, Vogue India collected exquisite hand-woven and hand-embroidered fabrics from artisans across the country and gifted them to some of the biggest international labels, and invited them to design a unique creation. A tribute to the Indian textiles, the Renaissance project comprised 21 pieces – Burberry’s iconic trench coat made in Maheshwari silk, Tod’s D bag made of Kanchipuram silk, Gucci’s gown in Gujarati patola, Hermès iconic scarf in Kantha work to name a few.

The Black Sari was a special project in which Vogue asked 50 designers to take a simple length of black cloth and remake it in the modern woman’s aesthetic-the sari! Eminent designers such as JJ Valaya, Manish Arora, Manish Malhotra, Rohit Bal, Sabyasachi created their own contemporary interpretation of the classic six yards which has been captured as a photo feature.
