Pepper tumbled further on strong supplies in the global market with May delivery ended the week down 1.27% at Rs 38095 per quintal. Yellow spice and Cumin Seed prices dropped further on strong inflow of the spices in domestic mandis.
The Turmeric April delivery was down by 10.21% at Rs 3518 while Jeera settled down by 4.38% at Rs 11,850 per quintal. Chilli eased further on strong arrivals from the bounty crop while cardamom was down due to profit taking. Chilli June delivery was down by 12.14% at Rs 5050 per quintal while Cardamom may delivery was down by 1.44% at Rs 1,171.90 per 1 kg. Cumin Seed May delivery was down by 4.38% at Rs 11,850 per quintal.
