Zodiac Aerospace, has reportedly turned down a takeover approach from French aerospace-engine specialist Safran, arguing the companies have little overlap and a combination would yield few savings.
According to reports, Safran was quoted as saying that it took note of Zodiac's reaction but remains convinced of the obvious logic of a combination from an industrial and a strategic perspective.
