L&T Infotech partners with Akshaya Patra to support literacy of 10,000 children in Bengaluru

The primary objective of the project is to promote school attendance, reduce dropout rates, promote national literacy rates and also to ensure the nutritional status of children is improved.

L&T Infotech announced joining hands with Akshaya Patra towards promoting literacy of 10,000 children studying in 35 govt. schools in and around Bengaluru. As part of the CSR initiative by L&T Infotech, the company will sponsor mid-day meals of these children as well as provide a bus to transport the cooked food to the schools.

The companies signed a formal MoU towards this initiative that saw representation from L&T Infotech including Amit Bhattacharjee - Global Business Head – IMS BU, Raghuram SK Head - Delivery, Enterprise Integration, Vijay Chavali Head Delivery IMS, Chetan Khanna Head - HR- Emerging Market & Vinodh Kumar, Sr. Officer Corporate Sustainability.
