Ghaziabad based freelance artist and passionate traveller-Nishat Rehman’s entry was adjudged the winner of the campaign, winning the grand prize – a Hyundai Eon Magna Plus car. Entries from Heena Shah-Dedhi and Sandy Bangera were declared the first and second runner-up to claim the iPad 3 Mini and Motorola Moto G (2nd Gen) smartphone respectively.

Nishat’s entry particularly impressed the jury as it stood out not only for what being desi meant to her but also for offering a kaleidoscopic view of our culturally infused country. Ultimately that is what we are trying to achieve with the .Desi domain and create a means through which an individual/organization can truly represent their local roots.”
