Sharp India gallops 19%

The scrip opened at Rs. 57 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 68.4 and Rs. 57 respectively.

Sharp India Ltd is currently trading at Rs. 67.7, up by Rs. 10.7 or 18.77% from its previous closing of Rs. 57 on the BSE. The Board of Directors of the Company will be held on September 28, to constitute the Committee of Independent Directors of the Company to provide the reasoned recommendations on the mandatory open offer made by Sharp Corporation, Japan and the persons acting in concert with them to the public shareholders for acquisition of their shares.

The scrip opened at Rs. 57 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 68.4 and Rs. 57 respectively. So far 662681 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 147.86 crore.

The BSE group 'XC' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 69 on 23-Aug-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 34.7 on 29-Sep-2015. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 60 and Rs. 56.5 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.01 % and 24.99 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading above its 50 DMA.
