Skill development is important in stimulating a sustainable development process to create a workforce empowered with the necessary and continuously upgraded skills and knowledge to gain access to employment. Through this collaboration, KTI will be the window for promoting the skilling initiatives of EIFE in India and EIFE will be the partner for KTI for promoting the skilling initiatives in Europe and elsewhere. EIFE and KTI together will mount skilling initiatives like job fairs, seminars and research & analysis based events. Together both organizations will conduct surveys and joint studies in India and outside.

The collaboration will bring a lot of value add to our Indian skilling initiatives and projects. KTI will also provide us the strategic positioning and liaison with the Government on the Skill development front for India along with many other aspects.”
Seeing the potential for skill development, EIFE has launched an ambitious project, The EU-India Skill Development Partnership, with the objective of building a platform with various government, private sector and civil society players to rapidly build up a vibrant skill development partnership ecosystem which envisages help from EU for various aspects of building up skill development in India. Through this collaboration, EIFE and KTI will utilize each other’s expertise to achieve skilling objectives in India and Europe.
