Aviation stocks fall after ATF price cut

Aviation stocks fell on Thursday after jet fuel  price was cut by 3.7% while subsidised LPG rate was hiked by Rs 2.07 per cylinder, the seventh increase in cooking gas price in six months. ATF price was hiked by Rs 1,881 per kilolitre (kl), or 3.7% to Rs 48,379.63 per kl in Delhi.

SpiceJet Ltd
ended at Rs 61.75, down by Rs 2.6 or 4.04% from its previous closing of Rs 64.35 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs 64 and touched a high and low of Rs 64 and Rs 60.95 respectively. A total of 4476622 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 3857.46 crore.

Jet Airways (India) Ltd
ended at Rs 382.7, down by Rs 14.65 or 3.69% from its previous closing of Rs 397.35 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs 390 and touched a high and low of Rs 391 and Rs 378.8 respectively. A total of 2259843 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 4513.9 crore.

Interglobe Aviation Ltd ended at Rs 837.05, down by Rs 22 or 2.56% from its previous closing of Rs 859.05 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs 860 and touched a high and low of Rs 860 and Rs 833 respectively. A total of 257787(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 31318.9 crore.
