Bajaj Auto Nov auto sales at 2.69 lakh units, down 13%

The sales of the motorcycles decreased by 12% and stood at 2,37,757 units in the month under review against 2,70,886 units in November 2015.

Bajaj Auto has registered a decline of 13% in total sales to 2,69,948 units in November 2016 against 3,09,673 units in November 2015. The sales of the motorcycles decreased by 12% and stood at 2,37,757 units in the month under review against 2,70,886 units in November 2015.

The company has reported 17% fall in Commercial Vehicles sales, which stood at 32,191 units as compared to 38,787 units in month of November 2015. The company’s total exports stood at 1,15,425 units as compared to 1,37315 units sold in the corresponding month last year.

Stock Commentary:

Bajaj Auto Ltd is currently trading at Rs 2677.5, down by Rs 7.65 or 0.28% from its previous closing of Rs 2685.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 2666.7 and has touched a high and low of Rs 2696.65 and Rs 2653.55 respectively. So far 81467 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 77700.19 crore.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 3122 on 09-Sep-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs 2173.4 on 29-Feb-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 2714 and Rs 2603.7 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 49.29 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.97 % and 24.72 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading below its 100 DMA.
