Balaji Amines spurts 4%; board to consider amalgamation of subsidiaries

The company scheduled a board meeting on 24 October 2016 to consider and evaluate the proposal of amalgamation of its subsidiaries with holding company.

Balaji Amines Ltd is currently trading at Rs 322, up by Rs 12.25 or 3.95% from its previous closing of Rs 309.75 on the BSE. The company scheduled a board meeting on 24 October 2016 to consider and evaluate the proposal of amalgamation of its subsidiaries with holding company.

The scrip opened at Rs 314 and has touched a high and low of Rs 325 and Rs 311.05 respectively. So far 61135(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 1003.62 crore.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 329 on 19-Sep-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs 115 on 12-Feb-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 316.75 and Rs 302.55 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.42 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 1.44 % and 44.14 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading above its 50 DMA.
