Federal Bank climbs 4.4% after block deal

Around 25.2 lakh shares were traded in a single block on the NSE.

Federal Bank climbed 4.4% to Rs.45.85 on NSE. Around 25.2 lakh shares were traded in a single block on the NSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 44.9 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 46.2 and Rs. 44.35 respectively. So far 9010768(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7563.93 crore.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 79.73 on 03-Jul-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 41.35 on 12-Feb-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 45.5 and Rs. 43.55 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 0 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 41.51 % and 56.86 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading below its 200 DMA.
